Our History.
ORNH is a 30 bedded nursing home, nestled in the quiet village of Par, Cornwall.
Within the grounds we have beautiful gardens, which are well used by residents and families throughout the year.
ORNH has been owned and managed by the same families for over 35 years. 4 partners, who have the same vision and ethos – to provide the local elderly community with excellent quality nursing care. We dedicate our time to the running of the Home, and domiciliary care agency.
Our current manager, Alexandra Russell Small, has grown up being part of the home, and has progressed through the roles over the years, gaining several qualifications along the way. She is now the registered full time manager. Prior to this, Sam Small managed ORNH for 33 years, only taking a step back due to the pandemic.
Sam was a medic in the Navy, and his robust, good standards are still in practice today. He instilled a sense of duty and pride in all staff. We live by his mantra “there are two ways to do everything, and we do it the right way’.

Offering a variety of food options.
ORNH boasts a well equipped kitchen, with homecooked meals, cakes, and snacks, being prepared and served daily. We cater for all specialist diets.
We take a pride in our care to the elderly.
We have ample equipment to ensure the needs of our residents are met. Any equipment we don’t have, but need, is ordered without haste.
